Hi! My name is Lacey and I am 36 years old. My goal in starting this new business venture is to make you feel as comfortable and confident as possible, from the moment you wake up in the morning! To give you a little background on how I got here I wanted to share a little bit about myself, which I hope will help confirm why you should choose me as the makeup artist to enhance the natural beauty you already have!
I was raised in Clearwater, Florida, where I discovered my love for the arts at the early age of 7. When my grandmother sent me a postcard with elephants on it, I attempted to freehanded the postcard. Being proud of my work, I showed my drawing to my mother. Shocked at the natural talent, the following week I was enrolled in drawing and painting classes.
With an art background and a passion for creativity, throughout my teenaged years I took advantage of every opportunity to enroll in any art class I could, sculpting, painting, drawing, sketching. With extensive training in all fields of the arts, I have been commissioned to draw and paint loved ones as well as fur babies.
After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, I decided to try my luck in the Big Apple. There I worked as an Account Executive for a fashion company in NYC. Working for a fortune 500 company, in a high demand environment, taught me the discipline I didn't know I needed. Not only did I learn about work ethics and sales, but I also learned how to accommodate the needs of multiple levels of management, as well as all of our buyers. This type of skill is needed when working in any consumer field to ensure that everyone's desires are executed with precision. Although the fashion industry was exciting and a great learning experience, I knew my passion was for makeup.
In 2016, I enrolled at the Make-up Designory (MUD) in Los Angeles. Graduating from the Master Program at MUD, which teaches special effects as well as all things beauty, was one of the best experiences of my life. I was mentored by a handful of incredible artists including Michael McCracken, Juliet Landau and Deverill Weekes.
From there I was one of eight students chosen from across the world to compete in the Battle of the Brushes, IMATS beauty makeup competition, in New York City. I was absolutely shocked when I took home first place for my Victorian Volto Mask makeup, hairstyling and costume design. All contestants were incredibly talented artists.
Making the decision to follow my dream of becoming a makeup artist has been the most invigorating decision of my life. I strive to be versatile in all fields of the makeup industry which brings me to permanent cosmetics. In 2025 I entered The Skin Games competition for permanent makeup in Brows, Lips and Areola. Competing pushes me to new limits and I was not expecting to place in this competition, being so new to the industry. I ended up taking home 1st place for my brow and lipblush submission, as well as, 2nd place in areola. I am so grateful for these new opportunities and was awarded the Skin Games PMU (permanent makeup) artist of the year.
I believe this is going to be the absolute best way for me to showcase my talent. My goal is to give every client that walks through my door the confidence they have always wanted, and that everyone deserves! I want to enhance the beauty my clients already have and make them feel comfortable, confident, and sexy as they possibly can. These results will be specifically catered to each individual client and can be as natural or dramatic as you wish!
Having such an extensive art background as well as formal training in the art and makeup industry is what sets me apart from other permanent makeup artists already out there. I have put pictures of my current and past work on my site for you to see, which will hopefully help you to make the very important decision of picking me to be the right artist for you. I hope to see you soon!
